[Bath] Plumber broke a tile and left an apology note for the tiler.
[Bath] Carpenter came today and cut a hole for the niche. There are wires in the niche area... so more plasters need to be ripped off?

The tiler had not put in the expansion joints between the floor tiles. It will be just silicon (hopefully it is white silicon) instead of grout, so the whole floor tiles will look uniform, nothing "outstanding" :)
Also, don't think he had sealed the tiles yet, coz the floor near the entrance is still quite dirty with all the footprints and the tiles in the bathroom are not done yet.

I'm really pleased you've decided to stay with the existing tiles in the laundry and powder room. I think they look awesome.
The silicone in the expansion joints for your tiling, should be an exact match to the colour of the grout you have chosen. We can't even tell where our expansion joints are. That's probably the one thing that PD did properly on our build.
Can't believe the plumber was nice enough to leave an apology note for the tiler. That's just unheard of! He deserves a medal.

Mandy, we're using Kimberly Smoke all over the place, even for the shower walls in bath and ensuite. The horizontal ones are Cafe Mocha Matt, it matches the floor tiles and we love it!
Liana, yes the plumber is really sweet, his note says "Tiler, I broke tile ensuite toliet sorry, xxx xxx Plumber" :)

I just had a thought ... wouldn't it be funny if it WASN'T the plumber who left that note, but another cheeky tradie, playing a joke on the plumber? Hehehehehe
Our tradies always blame another tradie, so it wouldn't suprise me. Did he really sign it off with kisses???
